Rob Fodor is a seasoned basketball player development coach with a rich background in the sport. Growing up in Detroit, Fodor honed his skills on the court and went on to play college basketball, earning recognition as a small college All-American. His talent and dedication led to opportunities to play professionally overseas.
Transitioning from player to coach, Fodor began his coaching career at the high school level, where he shared his knowledge and passion for the game with young athletes. His coaching journey continued as he became the head coach of the Florida Pitbulls in the American Basketball Association (ABA).
Fodor’s expertise and leadership skills earned him a position as the first assistant coach in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). His reputation as a shooting expert and player development coach further solidified his role in the basketball community.
For the past nine years, Rob Fodor has been an integral part of the Miami Heat’s coaching staff as an assistant coach. His focus on shooting techniques and player development has contributed significantly to the team’s success and the improvement of individual players.
